Enjoy 5 days of singing, fun and celebration!

Member of a Legato or Gala choir? Each choir will give a 30-minute concert as well as being involved in other events. Break a leg!

Your choir (of any identity) wants to get involved? You like singing, but you’re not in a choir? Just want to be part of the experience? Come and sing with us!

SHOWCASING TALENTED LGBTQI+ CHOIRS!

Various Voices shines a spotlight on the diversity and musical wealth of LGBTQI+ choirs from all over Europe and beyond.

Choirs that wish to take part in the festival are required to be members of Legato or Gala.

Each participating LGBTQI+ choir will perform a 30-minute concert during the festival, and will also be involved in at least one of our other events (shows, street concerts…), as well as the "Let your heart be heard" gala.

There are two steps to festival sign-up: choirs register first, and then individual singers and others accompanying each group.

Choirs pay a festival sign-up fee which depends on the number of singers attending and the date of registration.

Singers also pay a fee, with the amount depending on the date they sign up. Registering for the festival gives singers access to all festival events and a number of other perks. A financial support programme is in development.

Let your heart be heard

Open to all choirs and all singers, whether you have experience or not.

No need to be part of a Legato or Gala member choir, no need to identify as LGBTQI+ – you don’t even need to be part of a choir. This event is free and open to anyone who shares our values and loves to sing.

The festival anthem, Let Your Heart Be Heard, was written especially for the festival by Brussels-based composer Simon Finn. We want to bring together the largest number of singers ever seen in Brussels to perform the song alongside the LGBTQI+ choirs and singers involved in the festival.

This fun, uplifting event will be a symbol for the dreams we share and the joy we feel when we sing together.

We want to use this event to send a strong message from the capital of the European Union.

You can join us as part of a choir, or as an individual singer. Never sung in a choir before? This is a great opportunity to give it a go.

We will provide the score and recordings to help you learn the song and group rehearsals will be organised during the festival!

Sound good? Want to join the adventure with your choir, as an individual or with some friends?
