Threee Of A Kind
You take three bewitching baritones who rejoice in singing a capella and have a preference for a wild mixture of diverse songs; you put them together once a week an let them confer. The result is not The Jackson Five but three Jacks of Hearts – or, as you say in poker, Threee Of A Kind.
Threee Of A Kind began in 2017, originally formed to join queer choir festivals across Europe. After the first lineup changed, founder Benno teamed up with Willem, a former “Mannenkoorts” singer, and Mirko, whom he knew from Homophon Münster. They performed at events like “Winter Melody” (2021), “Amusing Hengelo,” and Various Voices Bologna (2023). Since Willem’s departure, Christian joined in December 2023. The trio now tours with their show “Out of the suitcase,” appearing on stages like Hamburg’s “Ohnsorg Theater” at Nordakkord 2024 and supporting events such as Nordakkord 2025 in Münster and Deutsche AIDS Hilfe concert in Münster.
Taking part in Various Voices Brussels 2026 means a lot to us. We get to meet countless friends, old and new, and will enjoy countless moments of bliss and joy. And to make matters even better: we’ll get to perform in front of new audiences and share with you all just how much fun three(e) guys can have on stage.
