Let Your Heart Be Heard – Coming soon!

The Sing Out Brussels! choir recorded the song and shot its music video

24 September 2025

The Let Your Heart Be Heard festival anthem was written to express our shared hopes and dreams as an LGBTQI+ choir community. This powerful song, written by Simon Finn and arranged by Philippe Maniez, has been available for several months. All choirs and singers participating in the festival have already received the sheet music and recordings by email. Our goal is for everyone to learn it so that we can sing it together at the Let Your Heart Be Heard grand show, which will take place on Saturday, 27 June 2026 at the ING Arena. We want to include in this adventure all those in Brussels or elsewhere in Belgium who also want to sing, or simply attend this grand show, which will feature several artists and choirs. The venue can accommodate up to 7,000 people.

But how do you get nearly 4,000 choristers to learn a completely unknown song? How do you get the general public to join us? By letting them hear and see it!

The festival’s host choir, Sing Out Brussels!, entered the studio on 20 September to record this moving and memorable song, under the musical direction of Emily Allison and the artistic direction of Simon Paco, with a trio of musicians (Gilles Carlier on piano, Victor Foulon on double bass and Antoine Pierre on drums). At the same time, the choir shot a video clip, directed by La Horde Productions. Filming took place both in the studio and on the streets of Brussels, as the aim is also to encourage anyone who wants to participate to come to Brussels and enjoy the vibrant welcome of our city.

The video is scheduled for release at the end of October. At the same time, tickets for the Let Your Heart Be Heard show will go on sale. The public will then be able to reserve their seats (NB: if you are registered for the festival, there is no need to reserve, you will receive your seat automatically – it is included in your Festival Pass). We also plan to hold three rehearsals in Brussels in spring 2026 to allow the local population to learn the song with us in preparation for this event.
