Punch Art Choir
Punch Art Choir is a LGBTQIA+ choir based in Brussels, with a queer jazz & soul repertoire and thirty voices where diversity IS swinging! Our rehearsals and concerts are: groove, sharing Love and good vibes, commitment for our convictions, and above all: pure energy, fun and solidarity.
Punch Art Choir was founded in Brussels in 2021 as a LGBTQIA+ friendly, with an Jazz, Soul & Pop repertoire. We are 30 choristers with diverse backgrounds who infuse their energy into the projects with an intersectional approach to raise awareness and advocate for human’s and LGBTQIA+ rights. It has evolved into a group of friends united by a common passion while embracing diversity. We fight against any kind of discrimination through singing. We foster friendship, solidarity, and mutual cooperation as essential for well-being, personal growth, creativity, and the expression of talents and passions. Punch Art support everyone discovering themselves through singing, music, and humour.
It is an extraordinary opportunity to meet dozens of choirs from all over Europe with different styles and repertoires, but all LGBTQIA+, and other choristers to celebrate LGBTQIA+ and diversity with singers who enjoy music in their choir as much as we do! Wherever we sing, it will be an opportunity to perform on an exceptional stage and with an outstanding public.
