Lilamunde e. V.

Lilamunde is a sapphic choir that was founded in Munich in 1993 and has been singing its way queerly and merrily through all genres ever since. We currently tackle every vocal challenge as a group of eight. In our weekly rehearsals, we pay careful attention to each of our individual voices and also our collective harmonies. Our choir director Beatrice (vocal coach, vocal studies at Munich University of Music) guides us through each piece with great humour and the patience of a saint. We perform in and around Munich, throughout Germany and across Europe. Several times a year we organise a choir weekend where we enjoy intensive rehearsals and fun get-togethers.
