Rock Creek Singers
Rock Creek Singers is a small ensemble of the Gay Men’s Chorus of Washington, DC. with the mission to inspire equality and inclusion with musical performances and education promoting justice and dignity for all.
Members of Rock Creek Singers participated in an historic tour to Cuba, the first ever by an LGBTQ+ chorus, and they served as one of the host choruses for the World Pride International Choral Festival in Washington in 2025.
Founded in 2005, Rock Creek Singers keeps a busy schedule with over 40+ outreach performances a year as well as performances in the GMCW’s season shows.
Rock Creek Singers performances: Tour to Cuba, 2015; Performance at President Obama’s inauguration; Multiple performances at the White House during the Obama administration; Multiple performances at then Vice President Biden’s home; Performances with Laura Benanti and Alan Cummings.
We are honoured to participate in Various Voices again this year. We performed at Various Voices in Dublin, Munich, and in Bologna, and are always inspired by the incredible talent that comes together in unified song from around the world. Particularly this year when there are so many challenges for our community in America, it will be cathartic to be surrounded by the Various Voices community.
