Kor Hen is the fabulous choir from Norway’s 3rd largest city, Trondheim. We are a diverse group of 40 singers led by the wonderful Snorre Sletten. Through our passionate singing of pop classics we build an inclusive space for queers and allies, and inspire audiences to fight for LGBTQ+ rights.

Kor Hen was founded as a community choir in 2017. Since then we’ve grown in membership and reputation, painting our city in all the colours of the rainbow with regular performances at pride and other settings. Each year we invite a queer choral group to perform with us for our summer concert, and visiting groups have included Barberfellas (London), Friends of Dorothy (Helsinki), Sapfonia (Bergen), and Homonics (Dublin). Our growing profile has led to a trip to Germany to hold workshops at the University of Siegen and collaborate with the queer choir Die Taktlosen (Cologne). In 2025 we took part in our first queer choral festival, Queer Tunes, Copenhagen.

This is our very first time at Various Voices. We’ve enjoyed getting to know our queer siblings through our collaborations with other queer vocal groups at our annual concerts. Performing at Queer Tunes in Copenhagen (2025), our first experience of a queer choral festival, was so much fun and we understood on a deeper level our role within the wider international LGBTQ+ choral network. We are so excited to make more friends and spread our message of love and solidarity in Brussels!
