QuerChorallen Berlin is a queer a-cappella-choir of around 40 singers. Our repertoire spans from Renaissance to Pop – Orlando di Lasso to Queen. We sing in many languages and celebrate love, diversity, and community with passion, harmony, and a touch of Berlin flair.

Founded in 2005 by Nives Brzić, QuerChorallen Berlin has grown into a joyful queer a-cappella choir of around 40 singers who love singing together — from Renaissance to pop, with heart, humor, and conviction. We’ve performed at Various Voices in Dublin, Munich, and Bologna, and at Nordakkord festivals in Leipzig, Cologne, Berlin, and Bremen. A sparkling highlight was our 10th anniversary concert in 2016, joined by orchestra and band — pure joy and glitter! We rehearse weekly in Kreuzberg and meet twice a year for weekends filled with music and laughter. Since 2019, composer Jaret Choolun and since 2022, singer and conductor Andrea Eckhardt have led us with passion, humor, and heart.

Various Voices Brussels 2026 is much more than a festival – it’s a unique celebration of music, diversity, and queer visibility. For us, it’s a chance to connect with choirs from all over Europe, to share songs, stories, and laughter, and to experience the strength of a community that sings for love and equality. We’re thrilled to bring our Berlin spirit — full of joy, warmth, and harmony — to Brussels, and to add our voices to this vibrant, powerful chorus of pride and togetherness.
