Founded in 2010, Barcelona Rainbow Singers is the first LGBTQA+ mixed choir in the Iberian Peninsula. With about 50 diverse members, it promotes inclusion, respect, and equality through music, celebrating diversity and unity in a joyful, non-profit community.

Barcelona Rainbow Singers (BRS), founded in 2010, is Barcelona’s LGBTQ+ choir, born to create a safe, inclusive space where music and diversity come together. Their repertoire blends pop, rock, musicals, and classics, always with vibrant staging and a message of pride and acceptance. Over the years, BRS has performed in major venues in Barcelona and at international festivals, becoming a cultural ambassador for the city. Beyond music, the choir is deeply engaged in social causes, collaborating with local organizations to promote equality and visibility. With more than two decades of history, BRS stands today as one of Spain’s leading inclusive choirs.

Participating in Various Voices Brussels would be a milestone for the Barcelona Rainbow Singers. It offers international visibility, the chance to share their Mediterranean spirit and LGBTQ+ activism, and to learn from choirs across Europe. Beyond music, it symbolizes unity, pride, and cultural exchange, strengthening their voice within a diverse and inclusive community.
