Constructive discussions on the affordability of the festival
The annual general meeting of Various Voices Brussels 2026 was an opportunity to open up preparations for the festival to other Belgian choirs and associations.

On November 15th was the annual general meeting of Various Voices Brussels 2026, the association set up to organise the festival in the name of Sing Out Brussels!
Our team gave an update on the progress of the project and our budget. The members then elected the new board. Meet them on this page.
We then welcomed members of other Belgian LGBTQI+ choirs and associations to present the festival and involve them in our discussions.
For example, we organised a brainstorming session on the affordability of the festival.
The challenge is to make the festival accessible while guaranteeing its financial viability.
This gave participants the opportunity to exchange best practices and ideas, and to identify common ground and differences.
Each group then presented a summary of its proposals. It was all very inspiring!
Our team will now continue the work, building on all these good ideas.
