Voces Gaudii
Voces Gaudii is the first ever Polish LGBT+ & ally choir. Based in Warsaw, we use the unifying power of music to build bridges between communities. As cultural and social activists, we create safe spaces, amplify queer voices, and promote acceptance across Poland and Europe.
Voces Gaudii, quickly became a key voice for change. We are the first Polish choir of this type, focused on LGBT+ activism and promoting human rights. Our key project is the “Pełnym Głosem – Tęczowe Historie” (Queer Stories – Sung and Told), a series of deeply moving concerts, polyphonic narrative that shares the experiences, challenges, and hopes of non-heteronormative people with pride and openness. We are proud members of the Legato Association. We don’t just sing; we actively engage in activism, such as making music videos with “Miłość Nie Wyklucza” to promote marriage equality. We create a safe space for our 70 members, growing together musically to change the world one note at a time.
Attending Various Voices 2026 is crucial for Voces Gaudii. As representatives of the Polish LGBTQ+ community, being on this international stage is a powerful act of visibility and resilience. It validates our mission to foster acceptance through art. The festival is a vital opportunity to connect with Legato sister choirs, share our music, and draw inspiration to continue our work of social and cultural activism back home, proving that joy and solidarity transcend borders.
