Queer Voices Glasgow is a growing community choir from rainy Glasgow, with members from the city and across West Scotland. Singing together since 2018, our aim is to bring people together to make great music, promote wellbeing and share queer joy.

We formed as a small group in 2018. Due to the Covid pandemic, we only had our first concert in 2023, so we are a baby choir really! We have an annual Spring concert then spend the Summer touring various Pride and community events across Scotland. Last year we changed our name to Queer Voices Glasgow. We pride ourselves in providing a friendly and supportive environment for queer folks to socialise and improve wellbeing through singing. We love to have fun together. We smile through adversity – even when performing in the pouring rain or when strong winds are blowing our music away! We are a very friendly bunch of people and look forward to making new friends during our Brussels adventure.

Given this is our first international trip as a choir, we are excited to perform, connect and celebrate queer music with choirs from across Europe. We are particularly keen to share our Scottish identity as part of our music. So, to bring a piece of Glasgow to Brussels, we are looking forward to sharing some Glasgow karaoke classics and Scottish folk tunes as part of our set!
