Out ‘n loud
Out ‘n loud is a choir of 40 members. Our repertoire is a combination of romance and humour, varying in style from gay tunes to urban contemporary music, and works composed specifically for the choir. We are multilingual and perform in Finnish, Swedish, English and what ever language is needed.
Out ‘n loud started in 2004 with 10 founding members and we are the first Finnish gay choir. We have also been the founding choir for Nordic Choir festival Queertune in 2017. Choir has even made on album in 2014. The biggest live audience we have had is 60 000 during Helsinki’s New Years festivities that was also brodecasted live by national tv-network in 2011-2012. We have had olne 3 different conductors and we are now lead by mr. Aleksi Vasko.
We have always participated to Various Voices so it’s part of our tradition. We want to be part of the European choir network and get new ideas even for our own choir. We also collaborate with other choirs that we have met during previous events.
