Dublin Gay Men’s Chorus
Founded in 2012, Dublin Gay Men’s Chorus (DGMC) is one of Ireland’s finest all-male choirs. Renowned for musical excellence and diverse repertoire, DGMC provides a safe, inclusive space for gay men and a strong sense of community under Music Director Duncan Brickenden.
DGMC has performed at many of Ireland’s most prestigious venues, including the Gate Theatre, Áras an Uachtaráin, Leinster House to mark 30 years since the decriminalisation of homosexuality, and the National Concert Hall with the RTÉ Concert Orchestra. The choir has won prizes at the Navan Choral Festival (2025) and was RTÉ Lyric FM’s Carols for Christmas Community Choir winner (2024). DGMC has sung at Various Voices and Hand in Hand festivals across Europe and will attend Various Voices Brussels 2026.
Various Voices 2026 is a chance to connect with the international LGBT+ choral community, celebrate diversity through music, and proudly represent Ireland on a global stage. For Dublin Gay Men’s Chorus, it’s more than a festival — it reaffirms our values of inclusion, community, and expression while sharing our sound and spirit.
