Doodles Prague
Since 2011, we have been bridging gaps between generations, cultures, and genres with our eclectic repertoire: from classical pieces, spirituals, showtunes, to pop music, and more. We have showcased our talents both locally and internationally, always supporting the LGBTQ+ community wherever we go.
Being the only gay men’s chorus in the Czech Republic, we are dedicated to eliminating social stigmas associated with the queer community. We believe that music helps us find a common ground with our critics, creating the right kind of environment for a productive dialog. In doing so, we demonstrate that mutual respect is the foundation for a society where each of us can be our true self — a society that is fit for life. Recent years have seen us perform in Berlin, Nuernberg, Warsaw, Cracow, Bologna, and other European cities. We don’t shy away from events other than traditional concerts, so you can also find us performing at senior centers or at our fans’ wedding ceremonies.
We are proud to represent the Czech LGBTQ+ community internationally. We love collabs with other choirs, choir directors, conductors, and composers. We enjoy making people happy, and to perform in a wide range of languages.
