Die Trällerpfeifen
Die Trällerpfeifen are the gay men’s chorus of Nuremberg. In our concerts we like to tell you our stories with song and dance and fabulous costumes. Most of our songs are arranged by our artistic director Hans Georg Leinberger, often accompanied by our pianist Michael Hübner.
Die Trällerpfeifen got together in 1997, became a registered association in 2013 and are part of the German association of choruses (DCV). Since 2000 we participate in the biennial south German queer choir festival. In 2025 we sang at the German choir festival in Nuremberg with 427 choirs and more than 14,000 singers where we joined two other choruses for a gay singalong on the main stage in the city center in front of an enthusiastic audience. This will be our first time on stage in Brussels, however it is not our first time there. On our way to Various Voices in Paris we missed our connecting train in Frankfurt and had to reroute over Brussels to hop on the TGV to get to Paris in time.
Brussels will be our fifth participation in a Various Voices festival. We are glad for the opportunity to reunite with old friends and are of course curious to meet new ones. At Various Voices we also look out for choruses who want to join us for a concert in Nuremberg. In recent years we were able to invite the Doodles from Prague and Krakofonia from Krakow, two of our partner cities.
